We will regularly be posting news and information regarding 3184 both Locally, Regionally, and Nationally. I anticipate that information will be near daily--In fact, several times a day. We promised to make sure that all members remain informed of issues affecting Social Security matters, and that is what we are going to do. Several folks have asked me if I was concerned that management would be aware of the information that we post on this site. The reality is that we don't care if management is aware that employees are being informed of their rights. In fact, we want for management to be aware of that employees are aware of their rights. We will continue to use Social Media as the private tool for sharing personal information. We will continue to use this tool as a venue for sharing information and contacting OUR union.

Welcome to OUR new AFGE Local 3184 Website. We have previously been solely sharing information via Social Media, and we recognized that not all members are comfortable with utilizing programs such as Facebook or Twitter. We intend to use this website as a central location for sharing information, so that ALL Members can readily find information and ask questions. We will continue to use our private AFGE Local 3184 Facebook page as a means to communicate information as well (as we recognize that we can restrict individuals from receiving content-ie Management). In addition, we are proud to announce that we are launching an app that can be downloaded with iPhone and Android phones. 3184 members will be able to access information, contact their Union Representatives, and receive push notifications from the Union via phone.
